745: Case Acceptance Fatigue
Decision fatigue. We can all think of a time that this has negatively affected our decision making. So, how can we plan for this and mitigate it? First of all, eliminating sources of subjectivity and relying on an objective framework helps us make difficult decision with less energy. Secondly, talking more specifically about dentistry, we should limit the number of periodic exams we are seeing a month. Because there comes a point when we get so fatigued that more exams actually decreases our production.
